Legal Status and Eligibility:

TREND has operated as a legal entity in Ghana over the past 19 years. It has the needed profile, legal eligibility and reputation within the sector as a key consultancy group, resource centre and research organization. The profile and reputation of TREND in planning and delivery of development oriented services is illustrated by the wide scope of donors, projects and international partners that it is associated with. Detailed registration documents are attached under section XX.


multiMulti-Disciplinary Staffing:

The Group currently has a multi-disciplinary core staffing made up of 19 full time experts and 10 contract field staff comprising community extension workers and Clerk of works supervising various infrastructure projects in the field. In addition, the Group has a wide network of experts including key researchers in the country’s key Universities. Between 2008 and 2012, the Group acted as clients for an AfDB sponsored pilot project in three regions of Ghana and recruited and managed 12 different private consultancy Groups who brought a wide range of expertise to help with various projects.

The Group has its Head office in Accra and has a project office in Cape Coast (Central Region), Takoradi (Western Region), Tamale (in the Northern Region) and Sunyani (Brong Ahafo Region). Our Head Office in Accra is located in a central, easily accessible area with 900m2 of space and is well-equipped with the following: o Complete set of field data gathering equipment (including about 40 handheld tablets) with requisite software platforms to facilitate field data gathering


o Complete set of computer equipment for report preparation, report replication
o 12 cross country vehicles for fieldwork and project-related travels
o Complete set of Audio visual equipment for presentations, workshops and training session
o Computerized equipment with Design software (AutoCAD) for engineering designs and printing
o Visual equipment and in-house graphics capability for materials design and prototype development
o GIS Centre with GIS equipment/software for all Mapping and land use planning challenges
o Conference/Training facility with equipment and capacity for 30 people
