Our level of resources and internal management structure means that (i) TREND can mobilise quickly for the assignments (ii) TREND is able to ensure a high level of internal quality control and a high level of accountability to Clients

 


financiaFinancial Management:

TREND has operated as a financially independent and self-sufficient company since 1995. The group’s internal financial management system is completely computerized and is regularly scrutinized by an external auditor and the Board of Directors and has consistently met the financial reporting requirements of Clients in Ghana as well as those of several Development Partners like EU, USAID, DANIDA, IDA, AfDB, UNICEF, KOICA, World Vision Ghana, etc. The Group also retains the services of a legal officer and a professional auditor.

 


transparencyTransparency and Accountability :

TREND has a policy of zero tolerance for corruption and fraud. Our internal structures and organisational structure are meant to underpin this culture of “no-corruption”. The Group has a clear “Fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy” to cement its position against fraud, corruption and other forms of dishonesty. The policy includes clear steps that must be taken where any of these practices is suspected or discovered. An important aspect of accountability and transparency is the availability of a mechanism that enables staff and other members of the Company to voice concerns in a responsible and effective manner. The framework for our transparency and accountability is underpinned by an internal “Whistleblowing Policy” which encourages individuals who discover information which they believe shows serious malpractice or wrongdoing within the organization to come disclose such information without fear of reprisal.
